  2. Thank you for  trying  BOOT'R!   If  you  appreciate  BOOT'R,  you are
  3. encouraged to call The Bertha BBS at  (218) 924-2060, and let us know!

  7. To use BOOT'R, follow these quick steps :
  8.  
  9. 1.  If you installed BOOT'R to a directory other than  C:\BOOTR,  edit
  10.     your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and add the following statement:
  11.  
  12.     SET BOOTR=DRIVE:\PATH     (Replace with your drive and path.)
  13.  
  14.  
  15. 2.  Manually reboot  your  machine  to  ensure that the new changes to
  16.     your AUTOEXEC.BAT file have taken effect.
  17.  
  18.  
  19. 3.  Execute the  BOOT'R  Editor  from  the  \BOOTR  sub-directory  (or
  20.     wherever you installed BOOT'R) by typing "BOOTRED",  and  create a
  21.     new configuration file.

  24. 4.  Once you  have  a configuration file, exit the BOOT'R Editor, make
  25.     sure you are still located in  the  BOOT'R  program directory, and
  26.     type:

  28.     BOOTR CONFIGURATION
  29.  
  30.     Examples of potential command lines could be:
  31.  
  32.     BOOTR DESQVIEW
  33.     BOOTR KEEN1
  34.     BOOTR WINDOWS
  35.  
  36.  
  37. 5.  At this  point,  BOOT'R should display the prelog  screen  for  10
  38.     seconds, write  the configuration files, execute any existing Pre-
  39.     Reboot Instructions, and reboot  the computer system.  (Registered
  40.     users may reduce or completely eliminate the prelog  delay time by
  41.     registering with   the   author.    Select   Help  -  Registration
  42.     Information from the main menu.)
